Reviewers call the interface beginner-friendly, and Artlist Studio is built for multi-shot, cinematic sequences with less raw prompting. The catalog includes Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Sora 2, Hailuo 2.3 and Wan 2.6, plus Artlist Original 1.0, an in-house image model. Calcalist reported roughly $300M ARR in early 2026. If you already license Artlist music and footage, stacking AI on that same subscription is the honest pitch.

There is no standing free tier. Watermarked previews exist, but a UC Strategies review in 2026 notes a paid plan is required to license and download AI output commercially without a watermark. AI Starter starts at $15.99/mo ($13.99/mo yearly). Unused credits do not roll over. A UC Strategies reviewer wrote that advertised credit totals vanish much faster than expected, with one user burning a month's credits on three sub-5-second clips in under a day. The same review says refund requests were denied because credits had already been consumed, even when the video was never finished. Artlist AI does not document a failed-generation refund.

AI Professional is $149.99/mo or $99.99/mo yearly, with 180,000 to 1,000,000 credits a month and a priority queue. Unused credits do not roll over. Top-ups are not clearly documented. Example costs cited for Artlist AI: about 100 credits per image, about 300 credits for a 5-sec clip, up to about 4,000 credits for Veo 3.1 or Sora 2 Pro, and about 7,500 credits per 1.5 hours of voiceover.

Worked example on a model both sell. The Seedance 2.0 page lists Elyum 720p at 16 credits/second (5s = 80 credits = $0.80; 15s = 240 credits = $2.40). Clips are 4-15s with native audio. Artlist AI quotes a short 5-sec clip at about 300 credits and does not publish cents-per-credit, so that 300 cannot be turned into dollars from the research.
