The Google Flow about page frames it as one cinematic studio. Veo 3.1 is the core model: native synchronized audio, stronger physics and prompt adherence, frequently cited in reviews as best-in-class realism. Ingredients to Video and scene extension sit on that stack. If you already pay for Gemini, Flow is the filmmaking layer of the same subscription.

The friction is the bill. Access is gated behind Google AI subscription plans shared with the Gemini app and NotebookLM. There is no pay-as-you-go credit purchase. AI Pro is $19.99 a month for 1,000 credits. Full Veo 3.1 without a visible watermark sits on Ultra at $99.99 a month (10,000 credits) or $199.99 a month (25,000 credits). saascrmreview.com reports monthly credits do not roll over. Google's policy for a failed render is not published. help.apiyi.com describes a visible veo watermark that shows up inconsistently by tier and access method. A 2026 review on lumeflow.ai said rendering is not instant and Veo sometimes ignores parts of the prompt.

Around May 2026 Ultra split to $99.99 a month (10,000 credits, full Veo 3.1, no visible watermark inside Flow, 20TB+) and $199.99 a month (25,000 credits, 30TB, Deep Think, Project Mariner). TechCrunch still lists a legacy $249.99 Ultra price. saascrmreview.com says monthly credits do not roll over. Flow cents-per-credit are not published.

Gemini Omni Flash on Elyum is 9 credits per second. A 5-second clip is 45 credits ($0.45). A 10-second clip is 90 credits ($0.90). Clips run 2-10 seconds with native audio. Google Flow bills Gemini Omni at 15-30 credits depending on duration. Without a published cents-per-credit figure, that Flow number does not convert to dollars from this research.
