LTX Studio alternativeElyum, pay only for keeps
Elyum charges only when you KEEP a take; LTX Studio spends credits on every generation, including the ones you discard.
LTX Studio, announced February 2024, is Lightricks' browser filmmaking tool, at ltx.studio. It turns a script or concept into a multi-shot storyboard, then generates and stitches video, image, and voice across third-party models plus Lightricks' own LTXV line (LTXV-13B in 2025, LTX-2 in October 2025). Flows chain generation and enhancement into repeatable pipelines. Saved Elements keep characters and props consistent across shots on paid tiers. That is a multi-shot production tool, not a single-clip generator.
The Trustpilot listing for LTX Studio is 1.5/5 from 75 reviews, and 88% of those are one star. Reviewers described refunds refused after a 1,200-credit threshold, 90% useless output in the first 41 minutes of use, and at least 35% of credits spent working through LTX Studio's own malfunctions. HoodRatsStudio wrote that a 15-second video needing four regenerations for character consistency consumed about 5x the estimated credits, around 20% of a Standard monthly allowance. LTX Studio's failed-generation charge policy is not published. Free is 800 one-time credits, personal use, watermarked.
We set 1 credit at $0.01. Every render returns as a free preview take. KEEP is the only charge. KILL refunds the rest automatically. A failed generation is never charged. Paid plans kill freely; Free allows one kill a month. Kept takes download full quality, no watermark, commercial use included. The pricing page lists Free (up to 150 credits once (our algorithm may grant them), no card), Plus $9/mo, Pro $29/mo, and Ultra $69/mo, plus top-ups. Pro and Ultra include fair-use unlimited image generation on selected image models.
Skip Elyum if the job is LTX Studio's guided storyboard, Flows, saved Elements, or three collaborators on a project. We do not have a timeline editor, stock footage, avatars or talking heads of our own, a mobile app, team seats, or a community feed.
Why people switch from LTX Studio
- Pay only for takes you KEEP
Every Elyum render is a free preview. KEEP bills the listed credits; KILL refunds in full. LTX Studio's failed-generation policy is not published, and reviewers reported about 5x estimated credits on a 15-second clip with four regenerations, plus 20-35% of a month lost to fixes and malfunctions.
- Commercial use without a $35 gate
LTX Studio Free and Lite are personal-use only. The commercial license starts at Standard, $35/mo for 28,000 credits. Kept takes on Elyum include commercial use on Free and paid plans.
- Posted rates on the shared models
The Kling 3.0 page lists 13 credits/second (15s = 192 credits = $1.92). The Seedance 2.0 page lists 720p at 16 credits/second (15s = 240 credits = $2.40). LTX Studio cents per credit are not published.
- No watermark on paid keeps
LTX Studio watermarks Free and removes it from Lite ($15/mo) up. Elyum kept takes have no watermark. Free is up to 150 credits once (our algorithm may grant them) with no card, and one kill a month.
Where LTX Studio still wins
- Script-to-storyboard, then stitch
LTX Studio is built as a script-to-storyboard-to-video pipeline for multi-shot narrative work. Elyum is a multi-model studio. We do not ship that guided film workflow or a timeline editor.
- LTX-2, Flows, saved Elements
Lightricks ships its own open-source video line (LTXV, LTXV-13B, LTX-2) and Flows that chain generation steps. Standard unlocks AI Storyboards and saved Elements. Elyum has none of those.
- Three collaborators on Pro
LTX Studio Pro at $125/mo includes up to three collaborators per project and priority support. Elyum has no team seats.
- About 60-second continuous clips
Autoregressive mode, added in 2025, extends LTX Studio generation to about 60-second continuous clips. Elyum's Seedance 2.0 clips are 4-15s and Veo 3.1 clips are 4-8s. If you need that longer continuous take, LTX Studio documents the mode.

What it actually costs
The Rundown AI's 2026 LTX Studio guide lists Free (800 one-time credits), Lite $15/mo (8,000 credits), Standard $35/mo (28,000 credits), and Pro $125/mo (110,000 credits). Enterprise is custom. Lightricks also publishes a plans explainer. Lite removes the watermark and stays personal-use. Standard adds the commercial license, AI Storyboards, saved Elements, and the Google Veo model tier. Pro is the listed gate for Veo 3.1 and the three-collaborator seat. Cents per credit, top-ups, and an unlimited tier are not published.
Elyum's ladder is Free (up to 150 credits once (our algorithm may grant them), no card), Plus $9/mo, Pro $29/mo, and Ultra $69/mo, with credit top-ups. One credit is $0.01. Pro and Ultra include fair-use unlimited image generation on selected image models. Worked example from the Veo 3.1 page: 8 seconds at 720p is 168 credits ($1.68) on KEEP. Four KILLs refund. LTX Studio gates Veo 3.1 at Pro, $125/mo. The HoodRatsStudio report (15 seconds, four regenerations, about 5x estimated credits, about 20% of Standard's 28,000) is what that refund changes.
